Closest Suburb To Observation:
A second species of Greenshank could be seen on the stretch of Cairns Esplanade. It would roost not far from muddies cafe along with Great Knots and Bar-tailed Godwits, each morning before work. The species was a regular to the west coast and this was the first reported sighting on the east coast late 2020 AFAIK.
